Danny Wagner
Born in 1986, he now lives in rural Rhineland-Palatinate. He is a trained Chemical Laboratory Technician, has conducted research and published in a university environment, and has recently started working as a perfumer and fragrance artist.
He has been studying, practising, living and teaching the western mystery tradition for around 20 years. As a mystic and magician, he has gained extensive experience in various magical traditions. From his work in Wicca, Druidism and Harner’s Core Shamanism, through experimental Chaos Magic, the intensive study and practice of African-American folk magic (Hoodoo) and Caribbean Espiritismo, to extensive training in the Hermetic tradition (Fellowship of Isis – Lyceum of Alison Gould and Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn), his initiatory path led him to the Ogdoadic-Hermetic tradition (Aurum Solis and Ordo Astrum Sophiae).
Danny Wagner particularly loves plant alchemy and working creatively with the scent, spirit and magic of plants, giving courses and workshops on incense and following his nose and heart into the mysteries of nature.
Together with Jo Weiszenfeld, he runs the magical podcast „Der okkulte Teetisch“ and the „House of Agathodaimon“, the initiatory contact point of the hermetic order Astrum Sophiae in Europe.
